2012 Open Registration
for Spring Baseball and Softball Season
|
Registration for the 2012 RYSBA Spring Baseball and Softball season is now open.
Those children who played in RYSBA in 2011 will receive re-registration instructions by mail. Parents are encouraged to retrieve, complete, and return the re-registration applications by February 4 in order to guarantee their child’s spot on a team roster for 2012.
Walk-in registration for all new players as well as those who played last year will take place as follows:
Saturday, January 28 • 9 AM to 3 PM • Kennedy School Gym Lobby
Monday, January 30 • 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM • Donovan School
Tuesday, January 31 • 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM • Lyons School
Wednesday, February 1 • 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM • Middle School
Thursday, February 2 • 6:30PM to 8:30 PM • Young School Gym
Friday, February 3 • 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM • Kennedy School Gym Lobby
Saturday, February 4 • 9 AM to 3 PM • Kennedy School Gym Lobby
Saturday, February 18 • 9 AM to 3 PM • Kennedy School Gym Lobby
Please note that if you are registering new children to the league, you MUST register them in person during the open registration days. Remember to bring your child(ren)'s birth certificates if you are doing so.
TO REGISTER CHILDREN WHO HAVE PLAYED IN THE RYSBA in 2011, YOU CAN:
- Enter your 2012 registration code (you may have received this from us via mail)
RYSBA is open to all children of Randolph. Children from the surrounding communities may also participate, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.

THANK YOU!
We'd like to thank all of you who were able to come down and support the league in the "McCoaches" Night to support the RYSBA which took place on Monday, June 6th. And we'd also like to thank the coaches and league members who were able to donate their time to work or organize the event. And, of course, a big "thank you" to McDonald’s in Randolph for hosting and generously donating 20% of the proceeds of the event to the RYSBA, a non-profit organization.

East Coach Pitching provides female softball players, regardless of their age or skill level, with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of fast pitch softball pitching.
A concerted effort will be made to prepare young ladies, both mentally and physically, for the exciting challenge of competition, also respect for the game, teammates and opponents. East Coast pitching strives to build commitment, confidence, and success within the aspiring athlete.

Dedham Youth Baseball (Babe Ruth League's division) is offering Buddy Ball Baseball to any player 6 years or older
who has mental or physical challenges and is unable to participate in any of the youth leagues.

RYSBA Twitter feed:
Get immediate notification of game postponements -as they happen - by following us on Twitter. Simply text “Follow RYSBAtweets” to 40404 and you will get postponement messages sent right to your cell phone. And you’ll also get important league information and reminders as well. A Twitter account is not required.
How To Add Your Phone To Your Twitter Account
1. Send a text to your Twitter code: 40404 with the word START
2. We'll reply and ask you to sign up if you're new or reply with your username if you already have an account, which you do.
3. Send your username (do not send any additional characters in the message, or we won't be able to read it correctly)
4. When Twitter asks for your password, carefully send your password to us (remember: passwords are case sensitive!so check your capitalization.
5. Twitter will ask you to send "OK" if you want to use Twitter on your phone. Send OK, and you're all set! Now you can send messages to your Twitter code, and they will post as Tweets on your Twitter profile for all your friends to read.
6. To get others' updates delivered to your phone now, you'll need to turn on mobile updates for those whose Tweets you wish to see on your phone. Until you do this, you will not receive any Tweets to your mobile phone. Check out these other phone commands for more tips and tricks!
