TTBR 13s in the State District Playoffs held in Quincy Click [HERE] to see photos Babe Ruth Fall Baseball Workout For New 12 yr olds players who will be at tryouts. For Existing 13-14-15 year olds may join to get the extra workout. Session 1: Saturday: September 4 9:00am-12:00pm Session 2: Saturday: September 11 9:00am-12:00pm Session 3: Saturday: September 25 9:00am-12:00pm Randolph Community Middle School 225 High St, Randolph, MA Workout Fee: $30 (covers all (3) sessions) Workout Fee Required at Sign-Up Forms available [HERE] and at the Workout Placement will be LIMITED. To hold a spot for the TTBR Baseball Workout: (1) Deadline for placement is August 28 (2) Send an email to: Baseball Workout at: tritownbaberuth@aol.com (3) Or call Steve Newton at: 781.308.0650 The Baseball Workout program is designed to practice on a 90’ baseball diamond, hitting pitches thrown from 60’6”, taking a lead and stealing a base, chasing fly-balls in a 357’ outfield, and to familiarize them with Official Baseball Rules. In each session, under the direction of the Workout Managers, the players will go through baseball hitting and fielding drills. Pick-up teams will be formed and the players will play scrimmage games. This will be an opportunity for players to get used to the larger diamond prior to Babe Ruth Tryouts. It will also give Coaches an extra opportunity to gauge a player's ability and future potential. Players must "Dress for Baseball" with Glove / Pants / Cap Catchers should bring their catching equipment, wear cup protection, and be prepared to catch. Workout will be 2+ hours, with breaks. Bring water to drink. Babe Ruth Baseball Tryouts Sunday: Sept 19 (Rain Date: Sun Sep 26) Saturday: Sept 25 (Rain Date: Sat Oct 2) Randolph Community Middle School (RCMS) 225 High St, Randolph, MA Check In: 12:30pm Tryouts Start: 1:00pm Tri-Town Babe Ruth Three (3) Towns: Avon, Holbrook, Randolph - Eight (8) Teams. Players play for the team that picks them. There are no Town Teams. New League. New Team. New Expectations. Tryouts are open to experienced baseball players currently 12-13-14 yrs old Tryouts are for New Players and International Division Players looking to move up For Players Born After: April 30, 1995 and Born Before: May 1, 1998 1. Bring TTBR 2011 Registration Form (Available [HERE] and at Tryouts) 2. Bring Copy of Birth Certificate 3. Bring TTBR 2011 Registration Deposit: $75 (or Full Rge Fee: $135) A paid registration is required before being placed on a team Registration refunded in full if not placed on a team 4. Dress for Baseball with Glove / Pants / Cap / Catchers wear a cup Tryouts will take 2+ hours. Bring water to drink. If you play for other sport organizations (not including High School sports) and Babe Ruth Baseball is not your priority, then we ask that you do not try out and take take a spot from someone else who wants to play Babe Ruth Baseball.
